Abstract Guidelines

Abstract Topics

All abstracts related to cattle management, nutrition, production, health and medicine are eligible for selection.

Priority for oral communications will be given to those abstracts in close conjunction of the topics of the main key-notes of the conference. (Transition Management – Heat Stress – Youngstock Rearing – Foot Health)

Abstracts must be submitted in English and in MS Word-format

Abstracts sent by post or fax will not be accepted

Definitions

Presenting author: person who will physically present the abstract at the congress and who is marked as the presenter in the program

Structure & layout of the abstract

Title (times new roman 14)

Lastname, initial 1 (Author 1 = presenting author), Lastname, initial (Author 2),…. Lastname, initial (Author last)

List of authors:

  • times new roman font 12
  • use 1,2,3 as suffix for affiliations.

Affiliations:

  1. name department, name institute, street + nr, postal code + city, country

The abstract (times new roman font 12) needs to consist of a brief introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions summarizing the significance of the work for practice.

No subheadings or references allowed. Maximum 1 figure or table embedded in the word document.

Maximum word count=  450 words

The abstract needs to fit on a single A4 page.

Publication policy

All abstracts accepted for presentation (oral or poster) will be published within the official abstract book of the congress
